When you shift into "park", there is only a small pin keeping your vehicle in that spot, and relying on only that pin to keep the vehicle parked will cause wear to that pin, and if your vehicle gets struck that pin is getting sheared off and the whole thing is fucked. Applying the parking brake is a no-brainer.

Folks I do not like Roshambo/Dissociator/Joe Zeller as much as I did in life. He constantly dresses like a woman and pesters me for attention.
