    Thats my point nigga, the motion controls are OPTIONAL. They suck in the HD version anyway. Plus the world isn't flipped like it was on the original wii.

    I got my Wii u for free from my uncle when he got his switch and he 100% fits your manchild criteria. However, don't completely throw it under the bus. It still has objectively the best version of twilight princess, subjectively the best version of Windwaker (some people hate the bloom effects added) and a ton of games that are on the switch that can be pirated on ANY model, not just older ones that have dying batteries. It also still has free online (that won't last forever though).
    With that said I wouldn't recommend buying a wii u if you have a switch already and the means to mod it, but if you have a newer model switch a wii u isn't a completely retarded purchase. Especially considering Mario Kart 8 still has an MSRP OF $60.

    I only have vague memories of playing Viva Piñata when the 360 first came out but I'm fairly certain the gameplay of Pikmin and Viva is really different. Pikmin is closer to a console RTS with your goal in the beginning being resource gathering, puzzle solving navigating your Pikmin over dangerous terrain and attacking monsters. There's almost no raising outside of plucking them out of the ground. I think Viva was more of a god game where you maintained your piñata animal reserve
