Who isn't intrigued by a Creepy Fuck Genie (CFG) that steals your identity after spooning + tons of delightfully blasphemous jibes at Christianity.
A world where Odin, Jesus Christ, Zeus, etc. walk among the mortals and are fighting to stay relevant. They live among us in the modern world and adventure ensues. Their entire existence is dependent on how relevant they are to mankind.
Also, in the TV adaptation, the main guy's GF, is very attractive. I'm not gay or anything but it is nice to fawn at the hot people, male or female.

FYI "American Gods" is a badass book that basically portrays all religion as man made with not true divine deity. Gods holding power only because people continue to believe of their existence. Also, this guy from the middle east moves to NYC and fucks a cab driver genie (man btw). They have gay sex and then the genie steals his life and makes HIM the cabdriver now.
There's also a series on FX that is aight. Books are usually better, cliche but true. -

I mean, I'm not that much older than them! I'm 34, so is one other girl, then 30, 27, and 23. I'd rather be with women this age than be the youngest with a bunch of 50-60yr somethings. Nobody in our group has kids either, so we don't have to pretend to wanna see some vapid photo collage that was already posted on Instagram.
When I was in my 20's I was shooting up drugs and barely graduated college with a minimum wage job. Now, I got pretty kick ass gig for work and don't shoot up anymore, EVER. I "party" probably 3-4 times a year, and that satisfies me. My car and apartment are nicer than they the pieces of shit I had in my 20's. I'll take a bit of back pain and slow metabolism over crippling substance abuse enhanced by an underdeveloped brain making shitty decisions any day.
But everyone is different. My shit-brained choices and self centeredness hindered me in my younger years, but now that I'm older, I find my decisions don't seem to be so shit-brained. -

Well, he gave me a quiz and he wouldn't tell me my exact # score but implied it was significant. Test had questions like, "do you strongly agree or Strongly disagree" etc. I'm on a great SSRI. It's pretty bad on some days. Sometimes there's even turrets like outbursts. Other days I don't even notice it. On a bad day, I'll risk being late to work so I can run from my car back to the front door to ensure it is locked. My mind goes, " oh no!, what if the stove got left on? and I have 3 cats!"
Besides over-worrying, my OCD is pretty manageable. I could give a shit if all of the binders are facing the same way or if a picture is crooked.
But if what if I left the vape plugged in charging at home and it blows up? Should I clock out early and check? -

Do you mean what they'd do to the dog? They stuffed him in a duffle bag every time they left because their lease didn't allow pets. I saw her BF kick the dog for eating his 20 sack of weed....They had no yard and lived in a 1 bedroom w/ dog shit all over the house. So yeah, those poor doggies. Plus, all of the fighting breaking up/getting back together. I was young and dumb teenager but at least I never got knocked up, didn't drop out of school, or move in with some guy and get a fucking dog. It seemed like in my hometown, the poorer you are and the bigger your drug problem is, the more animals and children you tend to take into your care.
If a town has less than 10K people in it, it's most likely a sesspool. . -

Yeah, I've never been to a big city one before, with actual dinosaur replicas and shit. I usually just go to small ones, like the Railroad Museum in CA or the Automobile museum. One day I will though. I went to a museum in Chicago once that was an "Agricultural and Science" museum. I don't remember a lot but I remember it was huge. -

If vaccines have any negative effect in addition to their main purpose, it's probably causing all those damn food allergies people have now. Dying from peanuts has never been more common.
Being anti vaccine used to be a radical left wing deal, then after COVID all of the Republicans seemed to forget that vaccines have been around since before The Great Depression. Before COVID anti-vaxers were white women with dreadlocks that sold home made paper towels and now they're old rednecks that get mad because he can't say the n-word.

Berlin Ichthyosaur Park in east Nevada has a ton of them. It was this mining town that is still has structures standing & is a cool historical place to visit. During all of that mining back in the day, they found 40 ichthyosaur fossils.
Wonder why there were so many of them in the same place. Pack like tendencies? A Heaven's Gate Comet-KoolAid scenario? Or perhaps just a simple Orgy? We'll never know.

That was in 2016....the way the weather has been these past couple of years IDK how anyone can say something isn't wrong. I 100% agree that the main debate now is if humans have a significant effect on it or if we have zero to little effect. I'd say we do, the massiveness of industrialization is truly mind-blowing when you think about it. Massive food production along w/ fast fashion churning out low quality clothing that starts w/ your trashy daughter and ends up in a literal trash heap at the local dump.
However, I'm not about to run off like some hippie and live off the land...I think it's nnice that I can get laundry soap, food, and alcohol all in one place. I just try not to think too hard about where my 88¢ can of Great Value Stewed Tomatoes really come from?
