Back in the fall I "dated" a latina girl and she was pretty but extremely crass. She would be "hey sup fool" and accused me of "talking all white" She worked as a waitress at the egg and I and I told her I'd never eaten there so she invited me come in and have a meal on the house. So I combed my hair, tucked a nice button down shirt put on my dad shoes. And went in, I walked up to her and the other girls that worked there and was like "hey whats up doll" with a smile on my face.

And one of the girls said "who are you?" And my "friend" said "this is the guy that sometimes takes me to his place and fucks me" And they kinda chuckled, I was so let down. I figured despite us being culturally different that we still had some kind of real bond. I chalked it up at the time that she was just really young. But I got to thinking about it and thats not really an excuse because I've known other young girls that weren't like that.

The person who smokes the most cigarettes is the most manly.

It's like being 16 again.

And don't forget that they've got this huge hatred of drugs. Weed, meth, LSD, it doesn't matter. To them it's all the same. Weed is just as bad as heroin because its drugs, and if you're ever, ever caught with it you will be so utterly fucked. Remember the whole nationalist thing I was talking about? Think about how much hatred these people will have at a foreigner who's been caught bringing drugs into the country. You better hope you get extradited. It doesn't always happen. Especially if they get you for smuggling.

The roads are absolute stress. I mean you may think, "Well darn, that time I went to New York was pretty hectic" but that's just hobcock to trying to drive in China. People will drive on the sidewalks. They'll drive on the opposite side of the street. They'll cut you off with no regard for a 'turn.' Chinese people don't know what the word means. Defensive driving? Ha! You may as well kill yourself. Driving on Chinese roads is survival of the fittest.

Sure, you can drink beer wherever you want. And yes, it's a fairly safe country. You won't get robbed walking around at 3am. But goddamn if it isn't the worst country I've ever had the displeasure of setting foot in. I've heard nothing but horror stories of china. You're better off going to Japan or Vietnam or Korea if you want to check out an Asian country. Thailand if you want a little red light in your life.

Avoid China at all costs.

I had a friend just come back from china and she said she liked it but you definitely have to not come off as touristy. I've heard good and bad things about it. It's pretty third world and a lot of people I think don't understand that.
