I found Staten Island real estate goes from affordable to pretty pricey. I think their Ferry is free to Manhattan for nightlife. Found a fixer upper for 220k. Can I save that much in 4 years?. I have to live like a broke bitch but yes. Of course I'll be equity rich and cash poor if I do this.

It's also on 3rd street that is south of the newer city line and both 3rd and 4th Street have an old 100 plus year old iron drawbridge. It's a fucking nightmare for traffic. Plus Mission Rock SFSU hospital was built across the street. 3rd is a weird street because it bends and runs into 16th street. And runs the farthest towards south San Francisco which is its own city.
Mission Rock will be a new mixed-used neighborhood consisting of:
8 acres of new parks and open space
Approx. 1,200 new rental homes, 40% affordable to low and middle income individuals and families
