While it's very true thyroid disorders present like bi-polar w/ manic swings etc. w/ many people. If he'd cut down, out all the extracurricular media intake IE internet conspiracy shit & maybe switch that energy to a PT program, walking, jogging, stationary bike & so forth. He'd get some endorphins, adrenaline to combine w/ the mania fuel & it's a easier come down & even rewarding with many.

He's always been paranoid bur ever since the doctor cut him off his meds he has taken it to a new level. Long ago when he would call the fona-fone and relentlessly interrogate me for hours on end I had thought he was trying to be my friend and get to know me but looking back on it all those calls ever consisted of was him asking me for alibis for specific dates, accusing me of covering something up and going so far as to call me a murderer. The only times he was not accusing me of some crime was when he would be telling me about some cover up/crimes someone else had done that somehow directly affected him even if it happened in the fucking future some how. I'm sure he is a damn good taxi driver but Im getting more and more worried about paying the fare when it comes to being acquainted with this gont. I won't be shocked if I turn on the news and see him running naked from the police wearing nothing but a tin foil hat. Im starting to think his ex-wife made him sleep in his car in the garage because she was scared of him. Im scared for everyone around him and most of all himself. We lost Bill Krozby last year to paranoid delusions of an imaginary talking black cop and his dog scarfy. I sure hope QMR gets back on his meds. I miss the slightly less troublesome QMR.

Nevertheless, the fact remains that schizophrenia and psychosis walk hand in hand alongside with cannabis use. Cannabis has many strains with different ratios of components. The ratio of THC and CBD is the most important psychotomimetic property of any cannabis strain. When a healthy person uses cannabis, he experiences relaxation, euphoria, and a decrease in anxiety and boredom. However, they might also have some undesirable effects like paranoia, grandiosity, agitation, hallucination, cognitive impairment, disorganized thinking and behavior, and depersonalization. People predisposed to the development of psychotic illness are more vulnerable to the psychotomimetic effects of cannabis, more specifically, THC.
One analysis of several studies found cannabis is one of the most commonly abused substances among people with schizophrenia. Young people with the condition, in particular, may abuse it more often than alcohol.
