What happens if you drink the super cool water? does it turn to ice in your throat?
Actually it'd freeze your pipes wouldn't it?

Thanks for the replies so far m8s. I think I'm understanding. Now I'm wondering what exactly makes something more refreshing due to its coldness. In other words, why when we're exercising or just hot in general do we find such satisfaction in an ice cold drink? If I'm not mistaken drinking cold beverages basically causes your body to heat up and defeats the purpose of drinking it for cooling purposes. So why does hot water, which would be better to drink after and during exercise, have to taste so shitty? HUH??!!

My nigga. I believe that happens when water reaches the triple point.

Isn't the triple point the temperature where it exists as gas, solid or liquid?

Well i don't know about super cold liquid water but i do know about hot ice. If you can get enough pressure the water molecules will arrange in a crystalline structure, they call it ice VII.
