    But the reality is women aren't doing too bad right now, which is all that really matters. You're supposed to take it from there, not the past. You learn, then you live. No system is ever going to be perfect. There will always be injustices and outrages in all walks of life; that's just something which has to be accepted.

    In a civilized and successful social setting, every member in the family has assigned responsibilities, which makes the overall family unit stronger and more durable, and much better equipped to face the challenges of life. It's like a ship on the ocean, every member of the crew have their parts to play in keeping the ship afloat. If you don't want to take responsibility for the role you've been assigned, that just mean's you want the other guy's role, and that makes you part of the problem, overall. If everyone in the unit simply takes responsibility for their role, without envy, without a thirst for more, without complaint, it's always a happy ending. Otherwise, it's not a happy ending. Simple as that. Dress it up as you will, but the traditional dynamic family is the strongest, and it will always be the strongest. The woman primarily takes care of the family and emotional matters, and the man primarily takes care of the logistical and financial matters. It's that simple.
