Mik said if I was a guy then our friendship would be a lot different, so I'm wondering how. For context Mik and I would often talk about science, I'd help him with skincare, he'd help me shop for clothes, a lot like therapy sessions, playing chess and just keeping each other company at night because we were both nocturnal, in the end it turned into a BDSM relationship.

I have had many gal pals over the years but It's not very common, most guys are only interested in interacting with females for the purposes of sex or dating and earnestly believe "you can't be friends with women" which is just insane to me I always had a group of male/female friends in school and if it wasn't for my gal pals I would not have been hooked up with their friends and gotten laid as much.
I think it's a very unfortunate thing lost on a hypersexualized society because when I read accounts of people from the 50's it sounded more similar to my life having some casual gal pals and I seem to have more in common with people of the past than modern "tinder woke dating sex SEX INCEL hookup" culture

Anyone that tries to say a man and woman can't be "just friends"is telling you lies. My virgo bestie for two years, we both had crushes on difficult people and it was an emotional support friendship but that was all, so I do believe they can just be friends. -
