I'm gonna write a modern retelling sci fi futuristic version where the wonka factory is actually a secret undercover global meth and LSD lab using atomic restructuring to turn water into psychoactive drugs and the technological marvels get blurred as everyone starts tripping and hallucinating and can no longer understand what is real or not

also the factory will be in space
The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire!

I could see some sort of catalyst matrix in the form of a crystal being used for "clean unlimited" meth production similar to the palladium electroreduction method

One could just as well use a reaction mixture which produces the acetic acid ester of ephedrine or
pseudoephedrine in these methods. The hydrogenation of the acetic acid ester of pseudoephedrine has
been detailed in US Patent 6,399.828 using palladium. One should know first that making the acetic acid
ester of pseudoephedrine is not as easy as with ephedrine. Ephedrine will react with glacial acetic acid
and a couple of drops of sulfuric acid to give the desired ester in reasonable yield by heating the mixture
to boiling for 1 5 minutes or so. Pseudoephedrine requires a lab acetylating chem, such as acetic
anhydride. The Patent also notes that retaining the acetic acid into the reduction mix lowers the yield of
product. The yield of ester reduction at its best was 60 or 70%, while chloroephedrine will give 90% at
its best. and with higher conversion numbers to the desired derivative versus the acetic acid ester.
The reduction to meth will be complete after about half an hour to 45 minutes of hard fizzing from the
Kennedy half dollar. Pull out the condoms and the anode rod. Brush off the layer of palladium black from
the front face of the Kennedy half dollar, and squirt it back into the catholyte with a stream of water. Let
the palladium black catalyst settle. Then enhancement your product off of the settled palladium black. This
    valuable material can be recycled.

There were only 7 overdoses at this event which set a new record (low) for Glasgow and this is being touted as a great leap in public health. Thank you to all the first responders that were there with narcan

A great lawyer could argue that adequate efforts went into the showcase.

my lawyer sucked in my last court case and gave me bad advice, didn't attempt to get me off, only called me for 10 minutes the day before every time I had trial, my dumbass took the plea and said the counsel was effective.

I wish I wasn't a poor person and could spend 7k+ on an effective lawyer but I don't have that kind of money.

I called legal aide once in a holding cell and they told me not to say anything but my testimony in interrogation basically saved my friend from a rape charge at the cost of me getting potentially roped into the mess for talking

I'm glad I did it though or else his life might have even turned out worse than it is now

Legal aides are dumb fucks especially non white ones I will never trust a paki telling me laws of my own country.

Ya I told the truth and got fucked over because the police wouldn't look at the cameras because they had 2 witnesses and 2 is a bigger letter than 1 so I went to jail and that was that.

Lawyers have a trick where they will trade the prosecutor 8 shitty little cases they can win for 1 case they can't win that pays really big. So, they sell you and 8 others up the river, in exchange for that one big fish. Everyone walks away happy but the 8 sold up the river.
