2024-01-06 at 6:18 PM UTCSeems like there is at least some overlap between the book and the website ethos. What do you think of it? Bought the book a while back but haven't read all the essays, would be down for a read along too.

The anthology collects essays and texts, initially published and previously unpublished, spanning various philosophical and aesthetic interests—as well as unorthodox writing styles that have been dubbed "theory-fictions"[2]—explored and utilized by Land over the titular time period. The book has obtained a cult following[3] and has subsequently been credited with influencing the rise in popularity of accelerationism.
sounds like a more literate, less schizophrenic precursor to Harassment Architectur

2024-01-07 at 12:32 AM UTCFanged noumena is unique in the sense that it does not exist outside the culture that produced it, it isn't a book that can be read or understood alone because it was the product of a collective, the zeigeist hivemind of when you could smoke inside college lecture halls and kasparov lost to deep blue, and not the product of a singular mind like philosophy pretty much was until that point. I'm also decently familiar with the required reading (kant and baudrillard at the very minimum) but it's like joyce, you are bound to lose something.
I don't think fanged noumena can be read and understood in isolation thus making the thread.

2024-01-07 at 12:40 AM UTCI haven't read Gothic Violence yet, supposed to be a more traditional narrative structure
Harassment Architecture is good, kind of like a series of disjointed violent outbursts -

2024-01-07 at 7:05 PM UTCI wanted to like Land, if you just summarize his ideas without reading his writing it’s a good kind of edgy. Actually reading dark enlightenment was kinda cringe though
