DRM actually has one use, it makes lost media impossible to recover, or not worth the effort, that's the only proven way to stop hackers and crackers and even some people have figured out ways to rebuild games from snapshots or videos and screenshots and shit using tools like GHIDRA and AI to "fill in the blanks"
except people actually wanted those. Nobody will care about gta 6 in 100 years and nobody will ever play it. Archeoloists will know about GTA 3-5 because of all the discs and evidence.
GTA 6 will not stand the test of time. People will just assume the series stopped at 5. In 100 years you can 3d print an xbox and reburn GTA 1-5 onto discs from code etched into gold plates
