    How do I get the black theme? Also I like how the threads are spaced out now. I would prefer a grey theme though or cobalt blue.

    oh really? because I thought the whole fucking purpose of this was to archive shit which the Internet is public access if there is open access to it which totse was.

    now they're being sued for copyright material. and archive purchased waybackmachine after 2001 so there is all kinds of shit in question here.

    Postgres. I've been running backups regularly, but I need to set it up again since switching providers. It's pretty solid software, this is the second upgrade I've had to do in the 8 years I've been running the site, and I didn't really need to, new version was just what happened to be available from the new OS.

    ehh, it's what you're used to. Postgres has better built in (well, via extension, but the extensions are distributed with the base package) text search which I use in ISS. That's one of like two places where I rely on pg specific behavior, otherwise switching to mysql would be trivial, but postgres has always been good to me.

    postgres just scales better, performs much better when data starts to get beyond a certain size/iops

    I haven't heard any arguments for why you would want mysql or its variants over it, but it was much easier to get started with
