Just a heads up if you ever run into your average everyday run-of-the-mill 3-wish-granting genie, I guess. Of course, it might try to pull some rules lawyer shit on you like claiming that's "4 wishes". So, what you need understand before going into any encounter with a genie, is that's bullshit. That wish is made through the lens of your language, which gives it the illusion of being 4 things. But language is just arbitrary symbolic vocalizations/glyphs representing arbitrary concepts... it's completely malleable!
Not only is that whole sentence one wish, those 4 things can become one word if you make one up. Hell, the whole wish could be assigned to one word.
Don't make a wish: wish(). -

Then again, if you don't wanna, you don't wanna and maybe wisdom only allows you to see that you should...
Maybe throw in any other wishes you've got while you're at it. And anything else you could think of. Into your wish(), I mean.
You should still have two more wishes to play with if you don't have the ability to grant your own yet, so consult me again depending on the results. If you have your powers, great. Wish for your buddy's freedom and ask if it wants to grab a beer. If it turns out to be a genie of the wish corrupting variety, you're probably fucked either way... but we can brainstorm some ways to make it suffer in the process. Don't let that fucker take you down without making it feel pain. -

It's not exactly news that we understand numbers by proxy - through muddy eyes in the heads of monkeys, forever polluted by the framework of 'counting' from which we derived their existence. Mathematicians can work around their failed intuitions here in the same way physicists rely on mathematicians to work around where their intuitions fail regarding space-time and dimensionality and whatnot, except there's no sub-math. No meta math. Religion, maybe.
So that's this thread. I'm going to say things in it, and that'll be the foundation for my personal religion-that's-not-a-religion. Or… something. (Most likely "or I'll forget about it like that time I was going to post one new Ram Ranch video a day sequentially for 2 months and then gave up after like 3 days because it stopped being funny".)
