One of the best exercises I do.

    I like to do quarter mile sprints while I'm walking. Basically like a 1:30-2minute quarter mile sprint, then another quarter mile in 4 minutes at normal speed. It's worth noting that all of these distances are estimated based on city blocks, I think 15 blocks is 1 mile, so i figure 4 blocks is a quarter mile including crossing roads.

    So I try to do every other walk/sprint/walk/spring for the first mile, then the second mile I try to power walk, then I just do 1 sprint as fast as i can. the whole thing takes me like 30-40 minutes. I found a route where I don't hurt much traffick if I do it between 9am & 3pm during the week when everyones at work

    i walk a couple miles a day everyday and while i'm doing them i like to do short sprints
