   Yeah there are some things that are getting popular here like halloween for some reason, but there's not really any cultural reason for us to celebrate Thanksgiving. maybe if there were a lot of US immigrants but where I am it's all Asians, Indians and islanders

   It's actually a lot more than an excuse to pigout, it's a time for people to meet with their family's and give thanks and make a special day to set aside for the special observance of the feasting festival that come with the crops being in in onset and preparation before the cold of winter sets in and no one goes outside for a long time.

   He should have bought land to assure he's going to have some when he's working. because land is not going to exist with the flood of Chinese and Arabs buying it up in the US as part of the way to drive up real estate beyond the next generations means.
