They do it for themselves, rarely for guys. If I look like shit I’ll feel like it too. Notice aldra always gotta have the last word even when he’s wrong.

how would you even know what's right or wrong? for someone talking about 'critical thinking' you're really averse to looking at the issue.
whenever I say something that upsets you you either refuse to discuss it leave the site 'because of haters'.
How about this: Nothing you do, especially relating to your outward appearance, is purely 'for yourself'. You're conditioned to dress like pre-op Ellen Page because of the response you get from other people, consciously or otherwise, not because you have a genetic predisposition to dress shoes and nostalgia.
HOW MAKE U FEEL?

Do you think I bought this bunny hat for status reasons and not personal taste? Are stamp collectors seeking status as well?

I hope it’s a post about feminism this time.

why? when I brought up your vanity you deflected to 'dressing for yourself' rather than anyone else.
the fact that you put so much value on your appearance contradicts the core feminist ideal that a woman's appearance is not a source of her value. there's really nothing more to it than that. if you were serious in arguing against it as opposed to just trying to change the subject, you could argue that you're not obsessed with your appearance (you can't), that whatever version of feminism you ascribe to doesn't reject appearance as a source of value or that you have other value that you're not as interested in constantly talking about for whatever reason.
what I was writing about is that the outward appearance you project is essentially a feedback loop - you design it in order to present a certain image of yourself, you (consciously or unconsciously) receive feedback from those around you and adjust accordingly. society is a heirarchy and a constant challenge, and controlling your appearance is just another way of trying to change your standing.

You said me caring about my appearance means I can’t be a feminist. I never said that being attractive isn’t valuable, feminists don’t say that either.
Also… I do care about my skin because I have a phobia of radioactive decay and like dressing up because it makes me feel great, but being an aspie means I don’t actually care about fitting in with society. I wear makeup when I feel like it. I don’t care if people think I look like a homeless drug addict.

no, you've misrepresented this again and again.
you are singularly obsessed with your appearance.

also, this is not what autism 'means', even if you were actually autistic.

I have no idea what you do or don't do offsite

You can read how aspies don’t care about conforming to appearance standards in Asperger’s syndrome for dummies.
or you can read about it in the DSM, where it's been delisted and folded into general Autism Spectrum Disorder because the diagnosis criteria was far too subjective, and it was being used to formally 'diagnose' things like generally poor social skills or emotional immaturity
