Maybe I'm to hard on people. I grew up dirt poor because most people around here were poor. I worked hard to get ahead and don't pity people that had a easy life and sit on their ass crying about non-problems.

They keep it behind closed doors. I read somewhere that having someone to blame for your problems (government etc) can stop people from wanting to kill themselves, like a vaccine. So it isn’t surprising if people in war torn countries are more resilient. -
