   Holy shift. I only have to wear it for less than 7 weeks. The healing process after I reattach my foot would be much longer.....IF it EVER fully recovered. With neveres severed to that degree.
   
   Ever notice after puberty scars just NEVER go away...i.e. heal properly?
   
   Since the bones broken it would take even longer to heal , longer than less than 7 weeks.

    There is a sim card in that thing that pings to towers and to the police. Get an IMSI catcher, and have it act like a cell phone tower. Intercept the data that is being sent, and replay it back to the real towers, spoof IMSI and IMEI. Now you put your foot in a Faraday cage, and screw the bracelet open. Even if it does send a signal of some sorts that it is being tampered with you will catch it with your Faraday cage. And your IMSI catcher will just be replaying the data you intercepted earlier so the police will be none the wise.
