Nigger do you know anything about methadone? You don't need to get so defensive because you like your government sponsored brain and bone rot. That's wonderful you find methadone easy to get off, you definitely should then because it has a much higher half life than fent. Don't they give you a pamphlet when u get on that shit? Do you just trust everything your government tells you and gives you? If it helps u get off junk then that's dope but just replacing opiates for methadone for years is beyond fake and gay.
How is living a normal life on methadone and having literally zero negative physical and health problems 'beyond fake and gay'?

Ive been dealing with methadone and synthetic and non synthetic opiods since i was 15 daily, im pretty sure im an expert by now.

The hate that methadone generates is literally through ignorance about its medical uses and more importantly the pharmokinetics and its chemical makeup.
Please post more studies that show how bad methadone is because a slight vitamin d defeciency could be caused by any opiate not just methadone...duh dumbass.

If you think its better for people to stay on heroin and fent over methadone thats ur deal and i sincerly hope hordes of fent addicts move in next door to you, then we'll see how horrible methadone sounds. 2022-08-23 at 12:51 PM UTCI have no idea where the dick bit came from but there have been a lot of reports of reduced bone density and dental damage while on synthetic opes like methadone and suboxone. last I read there wasn't all that much research done but the phenomena itself is pretty widespread.
like I said, when I was on suboxone (I used methadone for a little while but not long) I chipped my teeth like 3 times and that hasn't happened since I was a kid.
definitely agree on methadone being better than street stuff though, having a constant, stable supply lets you stabilise your life and ideally get you to a point where you actually want to get off opes altogetherThe following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -

If you read my previous posts [in some thread] i have said i have been on methadone for many years and when i was about 22ish i qent from 240 to 15 in about months and quit wd free. This was after being clean on methadone for about 2ish years. I got off and stayed clean for about 6ish months.
This go around im not going down until im clean for 5 years.
I know my situation isnt like everyone elses but having access to almost endless money isnt the best thing for an addict and contributes to furthering my addiction when im using. SO thats why this time im not jumping off so quick.
Plus i mean fuck it i get hella take homes and life is good so im not worried about getting off it yet.
I can understand people who cant afford treatment or endless drugs not needing methadone in the same capacity but the only thing that keeps me from getting high is the half life and binding affinity of methadone basixally and is exactly what i need to hopefully acheive long term opiod sobriety which is my goal.
Also btw sudo i can feel my bones weakening as we speak and i cant see mt dick anymore.
Also im sire the fact that i drink a gallon of milk every 4ish days helps my BONES

Wtf is this? You posted this in the morning clearly while still feeling the effects of your methadone. Why are u so defensive about taking a fake and gay opiate? You're an addict just like everyone else. Literally everyone knows methadone rots your bones and teeth. Opiates in general are bad for that. Methadone definitely turns some people into weirdos too.
So what's your point? You like methadone? Cool, don't worry, nobody is trying to take your precious government sponsored bone decaying impotency orange juice from you. You're safe in your delusion that methadone is exponentially better than using street drugs (it is, but only a Lil better). Replacing one drug with another long term is still shitty for you. If you take a drug that replaces your drug of choice you literally are deluding yourself that you're sober.
It's like if instead of drinking hard liquor, I just had a beer every couple of hours that the state wrote my name on. I don't believe this is recovery. But it's your body, and dying penis and chipping teeth, not mine. I know when I think of sobriety I don't think of taking another drug regularly so that I'm "sober."
That being said I do take 1 antidepressant and huge doses of it and I am honestly happier than I've ever been in my life since I started taking it in 2016 and if they came out with a study that said Venalfaxine/Effexxor causes people to have mania or cancer by 60, I'd still take it because the quality of life is so much higher now that I'm not just a mean brutal violent person.
I'm genuinely a happy person who smiles at many things even things I probably shouldn't, don't want to hurt people close to me and try to improve not only my life but the lives of others and believe that I have the power to do more or less anything that is reasonably possible by a balding 29 year old homer simpson lookin ass dopeboy from wisconsin.
On a happier note, next week will be 90 days that I haven't had a drink. :) It's been hard folks. & to sacrifice my greatest love to my Gods is an honor so for the last two days and the next 7 days I plan to carry around an XXL tallboy of MGD and then give it to my friend Odin on the 9th day that corresponds with my 90th day without drinking, as such an honor is difficult and gives me the reward of being able to demonstrate my discipline and love for him over that of Alcohol (which made me a bad person and a bad friend for several years) -

Methadond isnt detrimental to your health and there have been studues shown that long term opiod/opiate maintence actually extends life, the exact opossit of shorten it.
This is easy to see if you think about a drug addicts lifestyle which usually kills them, compared to a person on msthadone maintainence.
Even if you xclude the variable of lifestyle choices, there have been studies showing that opiates and their CNS depressing, pain reducing, and increased quality of life traits that opiod/opiates possess have been theorized as the reason that many opiate/opiod addicts live a longer, more healthy lifestyle than their un-medicated neighbor. I think it could possibly be due to the fact that it boosts immune system responses and slows down any bug/issue that your body is dealing with allowing your body to defend against thesd things much easier.
Ill try to find a study or 2.
