There is not rust anywhere and it is Ziebarted underneath.
For $2800 I might just keep it a while. Idk…
Would be great if I could talk my girlfriend into driving it and not her $400 a month 4 year old Camry.
In that case for private resale it's worth between 4300 and 6k with average value of about 5100. So provided it's in good and not fair condition.
If so then the value drops to 3700 to 4900. Either way barring no hidden problems you did good.
My advice would be to clean it up, flip it, and find another good deal like it but a bit newer/more. -
2022-08-01 at 12:20 PM UTCIm going to get the AC recharged this morning.
Get an oil change later this week.
Im undecided if I want to keep it or not.
It rides smooth as fuck but takes forever to warm up and oil consumption is annoying as hell.
Hopefully Im just tripping. -

Recharging the AC is a waste of time and money. That is a sealed system. If the refrigerant level is down that means there is a bad seal/s. Until you fix the leak you may as well take the money you spend recharging it and flush it down the toilet. -

so are you saying re-inflat your tires from time to time is a waste of time because tires is a sealed ... thing so until the leak has been fixed do not refil the air in your tires.
i kno.

This is partially true. It is a sealed system but it is possible that the freon leak is so slow that it could last all summer or even a year or 2. I had a truck that the leak was so slow it would last all summer then id just have to recharge it after spring. This is back when i was poor and didn't want to spend the monies to fix it properly. If you recharge it yourself every summer its not that expensive either. -
