Ed Zachary, his entire spiritual belief system is based on fear and guilt.

I think burning in hell for only five minutes scares people even more. Nobody wants to come out undercooked.

I've always liked to think that if hell did exist, it would be hot enough to burn you to a crisp instantly, and then you just spent the rest of your time as a piece of charcoal.

One plain piece? Or in a bag with your buddies waiting for the 4th of July BBQ?

All of the pieces at once. Everyone in hell are just evenly dispersed into every piece of charcoal that exists on earth, and they experience the neverending boredom and dread that comes with being sentient but also just being a piece of charcoal that will never experience anything other than that.

Time is a human construct...demons don't care about it.

Time and demons are both fallacies.

Demons care about time a lot, because they know their days are numbered.

When he came to the other side into the region of the Gad·a·renesʹ, two demon-possessed men coming out from among the tombs met him. They were unusually fierce, so nobody had the courage to pass by on that road. And look! they screamed, saying: “What have we to do with you, Son of God? Did you come here to torment us before the appointed time?” A long way off from them, a herd of many swine was feeding. So the demons began to plead with him, saying: “If you expel us, send us into the herd of swine.” And he said to them: “Go!” With that they came out and went off into the swine, and look! the entire herd rushed over the precipice into the sea and died in the waters. But the herders fled, and going into the city, they reported everything, including the account of the demon-possessed men. And look! all the city turned out to meet Jesus, and when they saw him, they urged him to depart from their region.
