That said i like Ar-Pharazon and the way he is portrayed, i also like the dynamic between Isildur and his father. Elrond is ok, but like i was saying Galadriel is absolutely not like she is portrayed in all of Tolkiens's actual work. She may be a Noldor Elf. But the second age is thousands of years after the first age and the war of wrath, and galadriel didn't even participate in the first kinslaying after Feanor's oath in Valinor regarding the silmarils. So forgive me if i think the show is high budget fan fiction.
If they wanted to cast niggers by the way, the people of Eastern Middle Earth, those who will later become the Haradrim and such actually could be ok for those roles, it is said the lands of Rhun and Harad are a dessert after all.

Yes it did, Tolkien drew a lot of inspiration from his own faith(Catholicism) in the creation myth of that Universe. Ainulindale, the Song of the Ainur the very first chapter is called.
