    I don't need to.

you're making the claim that it did just because you saw it on CNN.

no, it's when you make a claim based on what you saw on CNN, it becomes your responsibility to prove you're not just repeating nonsense.
  8. Originally posted by aldra no, it's when you make a claim based on what you saw on CNN

Really...that's the ONLY instance of responsibility huh...when you make a claim about something one saw on CNN.

Well you're right...I did see it on CNN, I also saw it on fox news, bbc, MSN, multiple social media outlets, twitter, youtube both professional and amateur channels...various internet forums, Statements directly from the US, UK and Ukraine government departments/offices/military... etc etc.

...but only the one about CNN counts huh

Again, get the fuck outta here with your unsupported/unqualified conspiracy nut logic

and yet you still haven't been able to provide anything more than 'x said' to support your claims.

I believe that's called an appeal to authority, though 'authority' is a bit of a stretch.

Which is 100% more than anything you've provided for your counter argument...which even though inconsequential you still continue to pursue..

The information regarding the convoy is READILY available if you want to research it, It's not my job to educate you on something you are too lazy to research yourself.

Oh you believe that do you? ...you're not claiming it?

Jesus wept, you can't script this shit folks..

Counter argument - Maybe you're colorblind.
  13. Blue-yellow color blindness
If you have tritanomaly, blue and green will look alike, and red and yellow will look alike. Tritanopia occurs when the S-cones of the eye are missing, which causes colors to look dampened

so let me get this straight, and correct me if i'm wrong:

you came to believe russians "ran out of gasses" because you saw a 3-minute news segment on TV showing out-of-context cut-scenes purported to be videos of russians stalling on the battle ground, taken by ukrainian military from their satelites and drones.

does this best describe the process that lead you to believe russians "ran out of gasses" mid-war ?

    yes ?

ya vinny does make a lot of good points.
  19. Operation Mockingbird is a large-scale program of the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) that began in the early years of the Cold War and attempts to manipulate domestic American news media organizations for propaganda purposes. According to author Deborah Davis, Operation Mockingbird recruits leading American journalists into a propaganda network and influences the operations of front groups. CIA support of front groups was exposed when an April 1967 Ramparts article reported that the National Student Association received funding from the CIA. In 1975, Church Committee Congressional investigations revealed Agency connections with journalists and civic groups.

In the early years of the Cold War, efforts were made by the United States Government to use mass media to influence public opinion internationally. After the United States Senate Watergate Committee in 1973 uncovered domestic surveillance abuses directed by the Executive branch of the United States government and The New York Times in 1974 published an article by Seymour Hersh claiming the CIA had violated its charter by spying on anti-war activists, former CIA officials and some lawmakers called for a congressional inquiry that became known as the Church Committee. Published in 1976, the Committee's report confirmed some earlier stories that charged that the CIA cultivates relationships with private institutions, including the press. Without identifying individuals by name, the Church Committee stated that it found fifty journalists who had official, but secret, relationships with the CIA. In a 1977 Rolling Stone magazine article, "The CIA and the Media," reporter Carl Bernstein expanded upon the Church Committee's report and wrote that more than 400 US press members had secretly carried out assignments for the CIA, including New York Times publisher Arthur Hays Sulzberger, columnist and political analyst Stewart Alsop and Time magazine. Bernstein documented the way in which overseas branches of major US news agencies serve as the "eyes and ears" of Operation Mockingbird, which functions to disseminate CIA propaganda through domestic US media.
