They spent so long puddling about, testing every little detail of it, instead of just going ahead and doing it and trying again if something didn't work right.

They're wrong about a lot of stuff
The fact that it's 60% of the universe and called just dark matter is like giving a name to an x variable.
It's probably just where the space grid is denser and exerts more of an energy than we have present in our traditional awareness.
Likely won't be exciting just gamma rays
