2022-02-27 at 11:23 PM UTCOil went crazy Thursday. Problem is I sold most of my oil financial products on Wednesday, and I was too stunned and horrified by what was happening to sell. Then it calmed down by Friday to where it was Wednesday, as people expected Russian oil and gas to be exempt from sanctions. I bought back in, and now with Russia getting kicked from Swift it has gone absolutely mental.
It's a roller coaster ride. I'm probably going to be selling in the morning.

BUY. Russia has no way for emigres to send remittances back home, no way to sell oil or gas, and no way to import luxury goods from abroad, and no reliable way to save money.
In 6 months time Russia will be all about bitcoin. Only bitcoin has the liquidity needed to finance a supertanker full of oil. A billion dollars of bitcoin has been sold in the past, and the market has dropped like 1% and then recovered. The volumes are huge. It's beyond obvious, is it not? So much money to be made. I expect bitcoin to 10x, then drop back to 5x as the jedis try to crack down on it. On the downside, the risk is minimal, like 10%. Huge upside, low downside.

bit coin wont work for the scenarios you mentioned. a babushka grandson working in poland might be able to send some bitcoin to her but she wont be able to go and buy meat with it because that would depend on her butcher being bitcoin enabled. and the butcher would need his hay and cow food supplier also being bitcoin enabled. it just wont work.You can make money by being more correct, earlier than the average investor.
That's hard for some people.
or in simpler term, one step ahead of the herd. and they have algos for front loading now. robots will beat you to it. -
