It’s Leo season! My big sis in Chicago had a birthday today 🥰
I do love me some Leo’s ..they bossy tho ..my big sister bossed me around our whole life ..and I never really cared I just wanted her happy…
I did all her speeches in high school..we practiced at home using the paper view guide as the timer for the speech
Then in college I wrote her children’s book for her early childhood development degree ..
It’s still on display at the college..I saw it when I was up there registering for school this fall
I remember when we were coming up we had a big fight..and I’ll never forget it because in the background Barney was on
And it was two girls singing “ she’s my sister, I love my sister”
I will never forget that 😭😩
But she really has a heart of GOLD!
She gave me my first designer bag..my first gold rings ..my first leather jacket…
And no matter how bossy she is/was to me ..if I said someone was bothering me ..
Babyyy! They had to deal with Brandi 🥰
And I felt bad for them !
Because that Leo woman will go crazy on someone 😩🥰🤭

The book was named after my niece ..I named it Xia’s toybox…
It was about crayons 🖍️ that wanted new friends..they began to cry and the colors from their tears created new colors of crayons…making new friends…
I was only like 18 when I wrote that ..now at 40 thinking about it ..it’s pretty genius..
Because it’s teaching the colors ..what different colors make ..
And friendship for different colors of people basically
She said her teacher told her it was the best book in the class ..
Which is why it was put on display 💖

I love my big sister..she is honesty one of the most beautiful women in the world…
We look just alike ..😇
People used to ask if we were twins but she’s 6 years older than me but we are the same height both 4’11
She’s the reason I became a cheerleader ..I used to practice with her ..and stretch with her
I stretched so much with her that when it was time for me to join ..I didn’t have to get my legs popped …I could easily do the splits ..
And I knew so many cheers ..🥰
I always wanted to be like my big sister 😭💖
And when we became grown …she told me ..she always looked up to me ..😭😭😭
My sister is genuinely a baddie..now SHE ..is a baddie 💖

She was the baby of the family for quite a while and I think when I was born she may have resented me ..because I was the baby ..
And my daddy and I were always closer because we had the same interests because we both Pisces …
And she just wasn’t into what we were ..
But she was honestly the wind beneath my wings 😭💖
