When I was in my early 20s…I dropped off the face of the earth ..
I moved away for two years and talked to not one person in my family..except..for my favorite cousin who never disclosed my whereabouts…just assured everyone I was alive and well ….
When I finally came back around ..everyone said my father was one day away from hiring a private investigator…
I went to my father and broke down crying…and as I was about to explain myself…
He stopped me and said ..I knew you ..before you knew you ..I knew what you were doing..before you knew what you were doing..
You were trying to find yourself…trying to show you can navigate alone ..
