What OS is most comfortable to you?

IDK how you can be confused by it. It's straightforward as hell as long as you ignore all the extraneous dumb shit for normies like the app store.

It's just got different menu pages. Idk. Sometimes i have to google where different settings are. I basically have it now but it was shit at first

win7 was a huge security and stability improvement

I think its just nostalgia honestly. Plus the interface was very straightforward. Windows menus in the last decade are honestly shit. I want compact information, not giant ass pictograph blocks. I forget what setting I had to change to disable those but it is goddamn awful. I can't stand the block look.

Ubuntu. Never messed around with Macs but I've been interested. I stopped using Windows around eight years ago or so.

    Learn Ubuntu here.

    https://askubuntu.com/

Download an e-book on the Linux command line and just type in 'Download Ubuntu' at Google to get a link to an ISO file.

Bingo bango bongo, there you go.

The site Sophie mention is great. I think installing it and forcing yourself to use it is the best way to learn though.

Yes, best way to learn anything is to jump into it and immersive yourself. The Ask Ubuntu site is for when people who are just starting out need a bit of insight from more experienced users.
