You should ask your doctor for some Gabapentin and ween yourself off. and make sure you set out a plan of weening so you don't cheat and not stick with it.
The Gabapentin will help with any shakes you get from withdrawal, and it also works on the part of the brain that could cause a seizure from trying to come off of Alcohol.
I would stay on it for maybe a year or at least 6-8 months. But ask a Doctor if you're OK with taking it. Some people I'm told can by it OTC. I wouldn't do that. I would get a script and stick with what the Doctor thinks.
I don't drink anymore. and the Gabapentin absolutely helps me. I even fell off the Wagon for a few nights going on vacation. didn't feel like drinking more than a few drinks and stayed back off of it for the past 2 years now. it's a wonder drug. but they're so inexpensive that drug companies dont make money on it. So specificity ask for Neurontin so the Doctor will prescribe it (which is the name brand) or he might suggest something else -

That's a form of Seizure and it's very serious. People have died from Alcohol Withdrawals. I have never done Heroin but Im told Heroine wont kill you. not even the withdrawals. but if you're an Alcoholic, they will give you a beer if you're in the Clinker (Jail) so you wont have a seizure and die from it.

You're MUCh better off just weaning off with the alcohol than getting addicted to a whole new drug. Yeah, it's 'the same part of the brain' but you have to give evolution some credit and realize the brain is not as simple as your quick google makes it out to be. Gabapentin is useful for alcohol wd but you shouldn't use it to taper off. If you want to switch to gabapentin that is a different story and definitely better for your body. But there's no reason not to just use alcohol for an alcohol taper. -

2021-02-15 at 4:16 PM UTCYeah one thing I will admit that i like about the people on here on NIS and TOTSE (I cant say for sure Zok) is most people on this webpage are complete societal malfunctioning or conditioned by society to be fairly intelectual but can't funtion like they want to. are trolls much of the time but if someone is seriously down, the trolling is set aside and people will help you as best as they can.

but it sounds like you're suffering health issues. Maybe learn to nurse one beer and vape some buds and watch movie and go to bed early. don't drink more than a beer. nurse it. or buy a pack of Rolling Rocks and drink like 4 of them and then ween off that way. it still has some alcohol in it. -

Not Prison. Jail. I don't think anyone goes directly to Prison, do they? I mean they will give you beer the first few nights and ween you off of it so you don't die in custody and then the Jail System gets blamed. and most people who are demons on Alcohol are generally nice people. it's because they hold everything in from what Im told.
Prison is entirely a different thing. they just make their own. kek

the reason benzos are used is mostly just so that you can stay functional; something like valium or even clonazepam are both longer-lasting and easier to accurately dose (and hence taper) -

that's kinda how i am, constantly spitting venom but i won't hesitate to help someone with somethin if they legit need help.

ive saved a few peoples' lives and inspired other people to fix their lives. nobody would know this usually because i don't brag about any of it and don't do it for recognition. my friend once said 'if my friends don't talk shit about me then im doing something wrong'
so i balance out my faggy compulsion to help people by acting like a psychopath much of the time and trying to make people hate me.
EDIT; anyway im smoking some cbd hemp and it's pretty darn relaxing. this is not advice for OP cause i do not really experience withdrawal symptoms other than boredom. just savin it helps with cravings for alcohol.
it's so relaxing that i just forgot i wanted to drink and stopped caring that the stores are closed early due to snow
