tbh those specs are pretty much useless unless you have some meaningful way to verify them yourseld.
otherwise your just going to have to take their words for it.
and those so-called "independent" testers are either paid to selectively present their test results of they ply their test results with their own personal biases. -
2020-06-15 at 4:28 AM UTCjust got a LG 'dual inverter' window air conditioner , it's top dollar for 10k BTU units. it was backordered and i finally got it and tried it and the blower slaps the styrofoam and plastic around the blower-wheel, it sounded like a total piece of shit. it would cost more and take longer to send it back and wait for an exchange .. i opened the stupid piece of shit like 300 screws and got fleeced again by foreign manufacturing and fixed their defects.
somehow it's cheaper to build appliances in gyna and thailand and ship them around the world with poor quality control and substandard packaging.. i think its downright shameful absolutely just look at it
corporate fleecers have shilled out the country yet again
their paint/powder coat was piss-poor as well i could do a better job with a couple spray cans its a total failure i feel stupid for buying it -
