Reverse Engineering game code from binary and fixing 20 year old bugs is pretty cool. I would like to see open source reverse engineered versions of other older games.

Open source game code opens up the ability for homebrew on old hardware. The more we understand how these games work the easier it is to hack or build your own game.
Making your own NES game in 6502 assembly is now possible. Next people are going to reverse engineer the 16 bit generation.
These old pieces of hardware would otherwise be lost forever to history and the software all gone forever one day. But because of projects like this old consoles will live on forever as long as we can replace the parts.

AGain I dont give a fuck. There are anough hacks emulators new games free games on epic store etc. to play. I am not going to play some blocky old with shitty camera mario game when there are like three others I own and have not completed to it superior in every way. If you own even a PC or any console that is relatively modern even a WIIU there are literally dozens of better games to play than some shitty 20 yr old 3d mario with better graphics lol so what theyre gonna make the polygon or blocky mess brighter now or at higher res? come on your fooling yourself. Theyve had these debugging tools and shit for ages and cant even produce a proper 2D zelda game as good or relatively as good without being cheap or make you look up online guides constantly to a link to the past. These people have no skills or talent.
