    I'm pretty sure you can still sell milk - there is more to this story than they are letting on. Here a lot gets turned into powder for export to England or China, where it is used for food production.

    Milk is also a pain to get rid of. You can't just tip it out into a river. Sometimes they spray it on land, but it doesn't do the land any favours and makes everything smell like gone off milk for a while after.

    They just dehydrate regular milk. You can make it at home. It doesn't require expensive equipment its just hard to set up to process 56k lbs of milk

    For comparison, a gasoline truck that refills gas stations will normally hold approximately 10,000 gallons. So, they dumped 6 1/2 gas trucks worth, give or take.
