   The rate is still at zero cause of the low inflation. That doesn't mean our economy hasn't improved. The feds are just playing it safe. The hike in rates should come before the end of the year.

   
   All inflation is bad. Low inflation should mean the economy is doing relatively well, if the economy is doing well the fed is supposed to hike rates, rates haven't been hiked because in the last couple years the economy has become dependent on zero interest rates. If the fed is going to hike rates now shit will hit the fan and they know it, therefore they won't hike rates before the end of the year but will start QE4 instead. All previous quantitative easing did not end in the rates being upped so no one should be expecting the fed to go ahead and start doing so after QE4.
