Yeah, but that's canadian dollars.
Over 10 dollars a pack here after taxes for marbs. fuckin, I can feel WAAAAAAAAY better from 10 dollrs of crack, meth, or heroin, fuck. Meth is like 30 bucks a gram and its usually really pure now, 1 gram is like idk, 5-10 days worth? or if using a little bit like a month. Not that Im encouraging or anything, but seriously those cancer things dont even feel good, theyre dysphoric. -

I remember here it was $3.00 even for a pack of marb reds when I was 18 or 19. Now 15 years later, they're only $6.25. Not too bad all things considered. -

Oh, yeah? Well, when I was a youngin', they weren't even called cigarettes yet. They were called cigareetes, and they grew right out of the ground free, and we smoked them right there as they came out. Fresh as fresh could get. Yep. Those were the good old days. You whippersnappers don't know how easy you got it. -

Again, Austrailian dollars so more like 18 dollars, but they are goin up to ~20+USD in a minute. A dollar a ciggy, even I shudder a little bit when people get hit up for cigs on the street now, because those things are 50 cents a piece yo. Lots of people buy em though, but only white people can do that without getting shot.
I think that's a good thing though, cigarettes need to go. I heard Hawaii is imposing a law soon where people under a certain age won't be able to buy cigarettes EVER. And then they will will keep raising that age limit over some years until they get to 100+ I think. Which is good because people that old are costing more money being alive than croaking from cigarettes. JKsmile
I'm ok with leaving dip/chew legal I guess, because even though it's harmful, it's not nearly as harmful as smoking. I like Redman chew better than dip, dip is too moist and gross. -
2019-10-08 at 12:56 PM UTCI've been smoking all my life, and I'm still alive.

2019-10-08 at 2:27 PM UTCOnce you get old, you realize everything in this life is a fraud. Everything you've been told is lies. You realize you are living inside a giant house of cardboard cutouts. People spend their whole lives chasing after money and fame and power and leisure and comfort, but it's all a carefully concocted joke of a sham, and they're all the punchline.

punishing the poor would solve nothing. -
2019-10-08 at 4:05 PM UTCalso comparing the price of cigarettes alone without taking into account wages is useless.
