There are thousands of bands within the "Industrial" spectrum of music and none of them (aside for NIN, Coil and Contagious Orgasm) come close to the sublime production quality and artistry of Skinny Puppy.
Seriously. There are so many imitators and bands of "similar" style, but none of them have been able to achieve the perfection of 1980s Skinny Puppy. This isn't an SP worship thread, rather it's me pointing out the fact that SP was able to pull off their sound with such masterful perfection meanwhile other electro-industrial and post-industrial bands sound so sterile in comparison. Even bands I genuinely enjoy have this quality to them that is either amateurish or sloppy. There isn't a single electro-industrial band that has ever been able to create an album (let alone several of them) that feel like they deserve a permanent spot on history's album shelf. I hope to one day be able to produce such quality works as 1980s Skinny Puppy.

I'm a girl dumbass, and yea wikipedia represents a consensus as opposed to your singular opinion that one of the most mainstream and popular industrial acts is "experimental".
Because they aren't. This is a very popular misconception. People think that because they used construction equipment to make their music and incorporated elements of noise that that makes them Industrial. Industrial music is essentially psychedelic rock infused with noise music:
