For everything that goes onto the one side, there has to be an equal weight, plus, on the opposite side. Your life is like that balance beam, and so is the big picture. No matter how many bad things you do, if there is even a possibility that you may ultimately serve his purpose, then that possibility is enough to exceed the balance weight of all the bad things you did. Even if the balance is equal, that's not good enough. "I wish you were either hot or cold, but because you are luke warm, I shall spit you out of my mouth." You have to be able to tip the balance. And the only way you can tip the balance is to put enough on your side that the bad side doesn't hold enough weight. Same with the big picture. In all mankind's history, there were only two perfect men: Adam and Jesus. All other men are imperfect, as a result of sin. Adam sinned, although a perfect man, and was not remorseful, and therefore he represents the one side of the balance. Jesus, also a perfect man, did not sin, therefore he represents the other side of the balance. Jesus was able to accomplish much more good works than Adam, therefore the weight of Jesus' good deeds exceed the weight of Adam's sins; if this were not the case, none of us would survive. "I am the way and the life".

This I disagree with because of "Grace." And because the moment one sincerely repents, God claims all wrong doings are not only gone, but completely forgotten. And if you read John 14:7-10, and 10:30 in the original Aramaic, you will learn that Yeshua is actually the Father!! -

Why is this verse important?
Because of who Yeshua is claiming to be and matches the Hebrew in Exodus 3
6 And He said, "I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob." And Moses hid his face because he was afraid to look toward God.
