It's infuriating that the media will talk about the chingchongs stealing tech but not a single word on how israel puts backdoors into all of our technology and how American companies funnel their shit to those hooked nosed gremlins

It's too late for that. China's industrialisation was massively accelerated by US companies who poured money into their manufacturing infrastructure because it was cheaper than paying decent wages to domestic workers, and now that China's at that level a drop in said investment is not going to make that infrastructure disappear.

As for 'stealing technology', the NSA and some European agencies do the same thing.

What do you get when you take 2019 era China and E.U. and melt them together?

It's hard to believe there was a time when I would use the internet without a search engine

I should try going a whole year without using one and see what it's like

This would be a great outcome. Huawei can still use android, they just have to cut out google play services and things which depend on it. They're positioned well to do so (their domestic market is not as dependent on the GPS dependent app ecosystem US consumers are they can make their userbase pivot better), GPS is a fucking blight on android, and if they can't do the development domestically then there are many many hobbyist developers in the west who find their interests well aligned with Huawei and who actually care about consumer privacy

Chinks use "wechat" which uses GPS and basically requires you to give your second born daughter to the state in order to use.

Has anyone heard anything about Chinks stealing software IP from India? That definitely seems like something they'd do.

They're also cut off from ARM so their only chance is to design chips from the ground up using RISC-V

They can use the existing Kirin designs but moving forward they won't have shit.

I anticipate massive expansion by Huawei soon to get up to speed on all the development they need to do in all these areas, and quickly.
