i think they really only do this when its a suicide or they need to otherwise confirm cause of death.
The saddest thing for me was that no one else in his family really seemed to care much for him, and the part at the end where it talks about every time there was a school shooting, they school would take him into the counselor bc they thought he was the "type" of kid to shoot up a school.
Thats really fucked up. No wonder he was so socially fucked up and aggressive.

Oh what a good case study malice could be. He had x reasons to live an y reasons not to. Like the next guy.
