Supposedly you only need to have tried two anti depressants. But yeah, doctors are gonna be hesitant.

Esketamine acts primarily as a non-competitive N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor antagonist.[1][5] It also acts to some extent as a dopamine reuptake inhibitor but, unlike ketamine, does not interact with the sigma receptors:

You are a fucking retard lol. More often than not, 'esketamine' is refered to as s-isomer ketamine. It is not an analogue to ketamine, like methoxetamine is, for example. You wanna argue that racemic ketamine isn't ketamine either? Fuckin lol. Stop talking out of your ass. Maybe you're not aware, but there can be different forms of the same drug. It isn't a different substance.

    Again..

"Esketamine acts primarily as a non-competitive N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor antagonist.[1][5] It also acts to some extent as a dopamine reuptake inhibitor but, unlike ketamine, does not interact with the sigma receptors: "

Now you've been corrected, not the same thing, try to be a man about it and move on.

Yeah, you have no idea what you're on about. There is no 'just ketamine'. It doesn't exist. Racemic ketamine can also be called arketamine. Essentially you are arguing that ketamine doesn't exist, only esketamine and arketamine. Just because there's a different word for it doesn't mean it's not ketamine. By this line of logic, bundy doesn't exist either, just bundy HBr and bundy HCl.

Learn 2 basic pharmacology retard. That you think different mechanisms make it a different drug is totally laughable.

Exactly...yet in your OP you claimed the FDA had approved it...lolol

You are defeated by your own words, move on and learn from this.

You heard it here guys, KETAMINE DOESN'T EXIST.

I literally posted the structures as well as their common metabolites. Racemic ketamine and stereoisomeric ketamine are both ketamine. You have no ground to argue on.

Do you really think there's just a normal 'ketamine' lol. Like not racemic, not s-isomer, not enantiomeric ketamine, JUST ketamine? All I need is a yes or a no.

5-7 grand a month, fuck that I'll stay miserable.

That's fucking retarded. I can get 5 grams of EITHER isomer of ketamine (S or R or racemic) for like 300-400 bucks easy.

§m£ÂgØL is right btw. When a drug has Es in front of it that means S isomer, and Levo means L and Dextro means D. Race means racemic.

    Irrelevant.

Did you really say the FDA approved "ketamine" when they didn't? All I need is a yes or no...lolol

The dispute was the fact that the FDA did not approve "Ketamine" as GGG claimed...the FDA don't make generalizations when approving drugs etc...there is obviously a clear distinction.

    Just the facts m'am. ;)

    First clarification.

s-isomer ketamine is still ketamine. That is what esketamine is. It isn't s-isomer esketamine, that'd be like saying queso cheese. It is still just a different form of ketamine. You are the one who said it isn't ketamine, but esketamine, which is completely false. Esketamine is ketamine, but ketamine encompasses esketamine. Get it yet?

If you had simply pointed out that it was not racemic, that would be one thing. But you didn't.

The vast majority of the time people say 'ketamine,' it refers to either racemic or s-isomer. It's fucking retarded to pretend otherwise, and say that esketamine is some different thing that is NOT ketamine.

If you had been accurate in your OP we wouldn't have needed all this now would we...Time go home man.

If you had any sort of previous knowledge, you would know that your 'correction' wasn't a correction at all but just you being anal over semantics and thinking esketamine is not a form of ketamine :)
