From those clips its pretty obvious ya'll arent string musicians
you could show him how you play it. i've met lots of technically competent guitarists who have no musicality. they play mechanically and have no sense of musical creativity whatsoever. -

Ive been a professional musician for years u moron lol
Ive been payed to play music for years, just have taken a break from it for the past few yrs
I have 2 handmade basses..my main amp is svt2 pro ampeg with a 4 x 10 cab.
Also have several acoustics, mandolin, banjo, and my main basses are 4 string fretless and fretted although id like to get a 6 string fretless so i can cover jerry was a racecar driver without having to use the eztended fretboard of my 4 string fretless
So yah ive been playing strings since 6th grade so try again lol
I was just practicing my mixolydian scales because im abiut to record scarlet begonias/fire on the mtn fir my final project in my electronic music production class. Funnt how much the dead uses mixolydian scales, but they are cool.
When i look at the fretboard i see squares which are scales idk its hard to explain
Im one of those weirdos who can hear a song and play it. Im pretty shitty at reading music but can do it mediocrally -

Took me a few days to get it down perfect with the weird tunings and finger pixking but i got it now.
It helps that im a bass player mainly and yall can throw thise picks in the trash
Unless im playing mastodon/slayer/something like that of course, but never for bass only guitar needs picks. -

Lol now that i read this again you sound like one of those kids that has a ton of music equipment but actually sucks ass playing and couldnt play with people long enough to even understand how to just jam in a certain key
