2019-01-01 at 8:13 AM UTCLatin is a hard must but right now I'm just trying to polyglot. You can't really use Latin to talk to people. It's basically a trivia language. There is a few latin speaking forums but to practice you really need to talk 1 on 1.
I have some friends I speak Chinese with daily. Cause of this my spoken Chinese is considerably better than written and I often don't know what characters im using when i text. I sometimes just hope its the right one when I don't wanna google. Usually is.
If you want to study latin again let me know. I will study it with you and we can speak it for practice. Doing this with Arabic currently but me and my friend are both very bad at it. And Hellotalk doesn't allow more than one language for unpaid accounts so :(
Too bad nobody speaks Arabic here -

It'll be really interesting to see how globalization of English will change languages in the next hundred years or so. Kinda weird that its basically everywhere you go. Everybody watches American media and I don't see that stopping anytime soon.
Most halfway decent countries encourage or force kids to learn English as well. -

Sure, it's a dead language, so maybe pointless to learn, but it is the progenitor from which they all were born.
I started learning Latin years ago using Rosetta Stone, but gave up after the first few weeks.
Still though, it's on my bucket list; or at least, if the human life span were longer, I totally would.
I love how they're all descended from "Vulgar Latin"… Like it's just a bunch of cuss words.
Also, gotta learn Dalmatian one of these days…

And none have the same sounds that make it appealing to English speakers, which is what you're talking about, and why shit like Greek isn't considered a romance language. It's that similar phonetic variation. Supposedly Italian is top dog in this regard because it has no unique sounds.
Poetry rhymes in all languages. Some languages rhyme like poetry. -

Its only important for the degree. You don't need to actually know latin to do your job as a scientist or rapist. -

but the raciest indian start there young out being as raciest as they are at the time of conception and even the old cocksuckers get in on the game,, I think they have an awesome program to make sure they get a good collage education and low debt from it so they can go out and buy tons of propertys so when they hit about 50 they sell off a bunch of property's and pay for several young Indians collage as a way to pay back the ones that put them through collage. -
