There should be an increase in US steel manufacturing. Prices might be higher at first but who cares because you’re going to pay more due to the tariffs anyways. Then once production increases and eventually stabilizes the cost will decrease along with providing additional manufacturing jobs.

Lots of jobs are outsourced due to low labor costs and shit is still expensive as fuck. These large corporations just want the highest profits they can get. Fuck em. Trump should impose a hefty tax on every company that sends work overseas.

Anything produced out-of-country can be produced in-country just as well. Nobody even needs any foreign trade at all. The crooks who setup this little shell game have concocted this scheme so that they can rake in trillions for themselves acting as the middle man between all parties, for a cut, while exploiting and depressing slave labor all across the planet. In my world, they would all be hung from their necks, and I'd watch them dangle and kick their little feet on the end of a rope, and then I'd ask them how funny it was now.

Yes, there are a few exceptions in what can be produced locally, but the vast majority of products could easily be produced if the crony capitalist corporations were forced to pay local workers a fair wage. Personally, I wouldn't allow any company to work in my country unless they pay a fair wage and offer the job locally first. They can just GTFO and we'll get someone who will.
