Anyways I just googled it. apparently Monty Python is like Groundlings or Second City. the Flying Circus is a troupe name chosen when they left Monty Pythons Stage troupe (Stage troup and acrobatics) and they kept Monty Python where they came from yet had all kinds of silly sub-troup names. Spoon and Bucket was one.. then they thought up Flying Circus and the broadcasters said.. stop changing it.. Flying Circus is set in the lineup guide for TV.
So Monty Python (was the acrobatic, circus like troupe and Stand up comedy, shtick, vaudeville) and since it was part a circus troupe, flying circus came from that.. but was only one of the many goofy names they came up with.

None of them were about race wars though, just a lingering feeling that something sinister was on the horizon. -

See... back in the 60s and 70s.. that was very shocking and naughty. it was like Benny Hill. Just weird Political humor and vaudville shit that made little sense, yet visually was funny and odd.
perhaps this made TV what it is today. crazy fucked up dark humor. but the beauty of them was.. they made it so cheesey it was obvious it's only mocking the dark truths of the world.
People went to vaudville because it was a place to let the working mind of the week just take a break and watch nonesense.. like binging on Netflix today.
But I can't define the line of morals. -
