I think it's the father which caused the seperation and the Mother was dying while Judy was attending to her? or she was sick in bed.
I think that will be her mom and the father is the father of the rest of the family. but they alluded to the Mother. unless you guys saw it already. I'm only at S1E4 or 5 at the moment.

I'm homeless and wouldn't consider moving into a trailer. I would rather just sleep in my car or on a park bench until I got my shit together.
I would however consider a shitty house or trailer if I owned the land, until I fixed it up or built a house.. then park the trailer in a trailer park and rent the fucker out. -
