I'll agree with you there, but I'm not getting it wrong. The two subjects are connected. Infinityshock obviously has the capacity to deliver superior posting, but he mostly doesn't want to. Why doesn't he? Because Lanny has been arbitrary, as you say, letting his ego get in the way of proper BBS management. Infinityshock is teaching him a lesson. Lanny doesn't care about the Streisand Effect, he just wants to come off looking superior. Lanny cannot admit when he's wrong, and that very fact acts as a lure to people who will fuck with him just because he won't admit when he's wrong, or acts wrongly. I've been telling the kid and his punk friends this for decades, and none of them will even listen, much less act on the good advice. -

Oh, I misunderstood. The rule as I understand it is that if the banned person doesn't cause any issues after the ban, even if they're on a sock puppet, that isn't an issue. So that would mean that Lanny is just being obstinate and petty. But he doesn't really care even if people believe he's obstinate and petty, and that's where I'm at right now with him. He thinks he can actually win this thing, when he will never win this thing. Not the way he's going. He's playing a losing hand. Especially flying right under the Totse flag/banner. Not right. -

I had to adjudicate a legal situation, once upon a time.
When the two subjects came before the hearing officer they were asked to relate their story.
After they finished explaining the hearing officer said they were both being charged with fighting -- one of the men jumped up and shouted, "I was I was only protecting myself."
"Exactly," replied the hearing officer, "that's why you were both charged with fighting." -
