To be more precise, It's only the foreigners who call Albanians this way, and the country Albania. But the Albanians (ALL), call themselves Shqipetar (it comes from the word Eagle) and Albania is called Shqiperia (The Land of Eagles). And they are very proud of that too. Well, we, are a proud lot.
Those must've been Serbs, and they hate each other since forever. Lol -

The blonde Sicilians usually come from the invasions as you said or from breeding with north Italians and Germans. Southern Italians don't consider themselves pure Italians...so some did marry regular German soldiers or hid them. Albanians in origin are all over Italy and a few even work for my family. Like individuals from Morrocco....more loyal than other Arab nations. -
