I really like Avant.. heâs pretty underrated..I watched a behind the music Type docu on him and his career and found out he never got out the shadow of comparisons to R.Kelly.. and I was thinking dang thatâs messed up because although they have similar sounds theyâre very different artists....
But I just watched that video and itâs basically the same plot as R.Kellys â Keep it on the down lowâ
He had to know thatâs the premise of a classic music video..
Iâm not gonna hold it against him , it could have very well been his team that made the decision to go with that .. but it definitely wouldnât help with not receiving comparisons ...if thatâs something they werenât going for ...
