In between the lining of your lungs there is compressed air sacs called blebs. They are of various sizes. When a bleb ruptures, due to some kind of exterior stress, the inner wall of the lung concaves inward, creating less air capacity in the lung. Quite painful, and feels like a little stab of intense pain every time you take a breath. The cure is to suck the air and fluid out of the bleb with a long-nosed syringe, which restores the shape of the inner lining, restoring air capacity.

Tonight, in your sleep, you will die. They will find you in a week after your cat has eaten your face. -
2025-01-22 at 5:29 AM UTCIt started with just an ache when I coughed. I've had this cough for over three weeks. Then yesterday it was a stabbing pain with any movement. Right now the pain is worse and I can't breathe while lying on my back because it hurts when my chest raises.

2025-01-22 at 5:34 AM UTCI'm used to holding my breath for long periods, it's a subconscious habit so I should make it through the night.

I had something like this. Atalectisis or something is what it's called. Pancake of a lung lobe. not a total collapse but you need to do cardio and deep breathing. hiking is the best.
My Pulmonologists told me to get a pack of Birthday Balloons and blow them up as full as you can without popping them. after a few tries throw them out because they stretched enough
do this twice a day. morning and a few hours before bed. this is good. they have these instruments now you blow into. Military uses them. it does the same thing. maybe start swimming indoor pools if you can find one.
try and hold your breath for as long as you can. build it up so you're able to go at least 1 minute.
I am around 45-50 seconds right now. -
2025-01-22 at 6:07 AM UTCWith a ruptured lung bleb, it won't go away, because the body can't remove the air and fluid. It requires a minor operation, or extraction through a large needle, the latter being the less painful.

You ever get Walking Pneumonia? that shit sucks. Drip drip drip all day long for like 2-3 months. I was on 3 bouts of anti biotics because it was bacterial when they tested it. if its viral you just have to wait but it usually only last 6 weeks or so -

Yeah, pneumonia is similar, but it's usually in the lower part of the lung where you feel the pain. That's where all the fluid collects. Worst thing you can do in that case is put the person on a ventilator; that's basically a death sentence for someone with pneumonia. The alveoli are already saturated with fluid, so putting pressure on them simply releases more fluid into the lung, complicating and worsening the condition, not to mention blocking the airway, with very little air being let in as it is. But they get $27,000+ for every ventilator they use to kill someone, so it's become the standard procedure and policy. A procedure and policy which deliberately murders millions of people, including children, for nothing more than cold, hard cash. They really are bloodthirsty terrorists, in every sense of the word.
