Quite the contrary. As a kid, I had a lot of money. I liked to paint, so I got a job painting the exteriors of houses. Out in the sunshine, fresh air, doing something I like to do. I would make $250 per house, and I could paint two and a half houses a day. That's almost $700 a day. And in today's money, that would be more like two grand a day. And the most important thing was not the money at all. I was doing something I liked to do. Wasn't even like work. The money was just a bonus. I've worked jobs I liked to do right from my early teens right into my later life, and I've rarely been unhappy, and never felt unfulfilled even once.

Ohhh no, that was a different girl. That girl actually genuinely deserved the abuse, and not just for being a woman. She was fucked.

    That sounds so wrong.

The average exterior house painting job takes roughly three to four days to complete.

But assuming they were small houses, how'd you find so many in your area that needed painting? And why'd they all hire you?

Okay, now assuming the story's real, what'd you find fulfilling about painting houses? Why'd it make you happy? Was it the paint fumes?

I worked on new housing development sites, where all the houses were brand new. So I had literally hundreds of houses to work on in any particular development site, and I'd do them one by one, as they were built in rows of 10-20 houses. And my job was primer, so all I had to do was prime the window frames, door frames, and miscellaneous trim. Took me about three hours to complete a single home, even though these were J Perez luxury homes, very large. My boss dropped all my paint and brushes and ladders off in the morning, and he'd pick up everything at the end of the day. All I had to do was something I liked to do. In by 7am, out by 4pm, two and a half houses a day for a nice fat check at the end of the week.

There’s no way Spectral was making over $3000 a week painting homes in the early 60’s.

    Try again specs

I was, though. Honest injun. In the trades, you make a hell of a lot money. For example, glass. There's a shit ton of money to made installing glass, especially commercial glass. You can easily make two or three grand in just one day. So if you like working with glass, cutting glass, designing glass, learning about glass, that is the best thing to do to make yourself happy, while making wheelbarrows full of cash doing it.

If anybody likes working with horses, there is a HUGE demand for horseshoes. Waiting lists are months long. So you become a blacksmith, you work with horses, you are happy doing what you like, and you make a ton of cash. But if you never work TOWARD that goal, you will never arrive at it. You have to set the intent, and then follow through.

The point is, life is not about making money at all. In fact, if your life is only about getting enough money to survive, you will never get enough. You will be perpetually poor.

You can't be truly happy doing evil things, even though you like doing them. There is a universal and cosmic connection happening there. No hocus pocus or anything, it's just that it's in the core programming of what we like to call reality.

I can outweigh my evil deeds to women by doing good things to men.

first he'd paint the houses, then a couple of months later he'd come back and scrape it all off, posing as a vandal. then the homeowners would hire him again. genius!

ugh my posts have been lacking lately. been tired.
